I enjoyed reading your post. I found it refreshingly balanced, clear and practical. We are part of a &#039;traditional&#039; hymn singing church in North QLD. I wouldn&#039;t trade the doctrinally rich time tested hymns for anything, but that doesn&#039;t mean we should not embrace new songs and hymns that come out that are scripturally and musically sound. 

If you looking for some new but solid music, we use a lot of the WILDS music and we also like a lot of Steve Pettit&#039;s music: www.spea.org.

@Andrew - Thanks for the comment. Indeed, the outworking, or where we end from our common statements is rather different. I&#039;ll be posting more on the topic in the coming weeks and months (DV) so do come back.

Anyway, I hope I don&#039;t come across as if I can deliver the silver bullet to end all questions. I&#039;m interested in knowing more about Covenant Theology and where it differs from Dispensationalism which is the position I hold to... and love.</description>
