"a sharp condemnation from followers of Darwinism"

Sorry, I gave all my money at the First Darwin Church this morning, so I can't buy any Girl Scout cookies. LOL There really aren't any churches that I know of that worship Darwin.

But "condemnnation" is wrong. "Ridicule" is correct. There have been a few books and papers on evolution in the last 100 years, so if you don't understand why religious dissent from the science of evolution is ridiculous, you haven't been paying attention. Of course there is no credible scientific dissent.

"here is Australia"

Maybe you won't understand some colloquialisms.

Whether its boring or not, it remains to be seen...quite literally. I haven't seen the film yet.

Indeed, lots of money from government grants go to scientists in the US and here in Australia for practical scientific pursuits. Most of which have nothing to do with evolution per se.

BTW. PBS did make an evolution series not so long ago called 'evolution'. I'm not so sure it was a "smackdown" as you Americans say.

Anyway, i have found, rather ironically, that any voice of dissent from Darwinism brings with it a sharp condemnation from followers of Darwinism...instead of the hard-facts-driven, open-minded approach which evolutionists espouse.

This political propaganda movie is rated PG. Be careful who goes to it. It's just going to be talking heads - sooo boring. They are so desperate that they are willing to (maybe) pay people to go see it the first two weeks. After that, gone without leaving a ripple.

"The government in the USA uses taxpayer money to pay..."

for a very large number of scientists to do research to try to improve the human condition. And they won't go see this movie.

No one would be silly enough to make a movie "about evolution". It would cost many millions and be 10 or 20 hours in length. But PBS might make a one hour special about the Dover trial and the smackdown of ID creationism.
